We are the data controller for the personal data we process when you visit and shop on willingable.cc. If you have questions about how we process your data, you are always welcome to write to us.

2. What data we process, and why

When you shop. We process your name, address, e-mail address and phone number as well as details of what you buy: products, amounts, currency, delivery method and any chosen parcel shop. We use the data to complete your purchase, deliver the products, send the order confirmation and shipping notifications, and handle withdrawals, complaints and customer service. The legal basis is the contract with you. Your phone number is necessary because the carrier uses it for notifications about your parcel and because mobile payment solutions require it.

When you pay. The payment is processed by our payment acquirer. Your card details are entered in the acquirer’s payment window and sent encrypted directly to the acquirer; we neither see nor store them. We receive and store a transaction number and the payment method used, so we can charge the amount at dispatch and refund it on return.

When you create a customer account. If you create an account, we store your name, e-mail address, addresses and order history so you can follow your orders and shop faster next time. You can shop without an account. The legal basis is the contract with you.

When you write to us. If you write to [email protected] or call us, we process the information you give us in order to answer you and resolve your matter. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing customer service and the contract with you.

When you sign up for the newsletter. If you sign up for our newsletter or one of our other e-mail services, we process your e-mail address and the details you give when signing up in order to send you what you asked for. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in the e-mail. If you say yes to the newsletter at checkout, we sign you up on the same basis.

Statistics. If you accept statistics cookies, we measure how the site is used with a web analytics tool in order to improve it. The legal basis is your consent, which you can change in the cookie dialog (see section 7).

When you visit the site. Our server and the security service in front of the site register your IP address, the time, the pages you request and your browser’s technical details. We use this to run the site securely, fend off attacks and find errors. We use the country code of your IP address to choose market, currency and language on your first visit; the IP address itself is not stored for that purpose. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, working site.

Bookkeeping. Details of your purchase form part of our accounts, which under the Danish Bookkeeping Act we must keep for five years after the end of the financial year the purchase belongs to. The legal basis is this legal obligation.

We make no automated decisions about you, do no profiling and never sell your data.

3. Who we share data with

We only share data with others when it is necessary to deliver what you have ordered or to run the site. The suppliers process the data on our behalf and on our instructions, unless stated otherwise:

We also disclose data where the law requires it, for example to the Danish tax authorities or the police. You can always find out which specific suppliers we use by writing to us.

4. Transfers to countries outside the EU/EEA

The providers of maps and address search, web fonts, the security service, the newsletter and web analytics are US companies. The transfer is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the EU standard contractual clauses. Other suppliers process the data within the EU/EEA.

5. How long we keep the data

6. Your rights

You have the right to access the data we process about you, to have incorrect data corrected, to have data deleted that we no longer have an obligation or lawful basis to keep, to have processing restricted, to object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and to receive the data you have given us in a machine-readable format. Write to [email protected] and we will reply within one month. You can also log in to your customer account and correct your details yourself.

If you are dissatisfied with our processing of your data, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark, www.datatilsynet.dk. We would, however, appreciate hearing from you first.

7. Cookies

willingable.cc uses cookies. Necessary cookies are set without consent; all others only if you have said yes in the cookie dialog. Which cookies we use, what they are used for and how long they are kept is listed in the overview below, which is updated automatically. You can always change your consent here: Change consent.

8. Changes

We update this policy when our processing changes. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
