Team effort and eighth place in the season opener
8th place for @gustav_dahl on stage 1 of the UCI race Visit South Aegean Islands Tour.
The race opened Team Airtox Carl Ras’ 2024 season today, and it happened with an 8th place for @gustav_dahl. Before that, an eventful stage where the team worked loyally for each other. The plan was to ride the finale for @alexander_a_hansen, but when he hit the asphalt barely 2 km from the finish, Gustav Dahl and @_gustavttwang had to improvise. Well ridden, boys – we take revenge tomorrow. It held all the way, though. The stage was a tough one at high pace with 5 finishing laps and a brutal climb. That was to make the difference. The team rode fantastically. @_albertholm_ and @_gustavttwang sat in the breakaway, and that of course cost energy, but Holm & Wang took the win. They showed lionheart and went all in. The Team Airtox riders stood shoulder to shoulder. Everyone worked for the common plan and sacrificed everything to get @gustav_dahl and @alexander_a_hansen to the final climb in the best possible shape. And that mission succeeded. The work gave Dahl & Arnt a 4th place on the day and an 8th place overall for Gustav D. Good work! It put UCI points on the account, and the team is up and running.
Gustav Wang’s strong podium for Team Airtox in the Rhodes GP

Wang continues the fine results from 2023 – the bike mechanic from Rødovre – and @_gustavttwang crowned a good day with a strong podium in the UCI race RHODOS GP. Before that, 183 km had been ridden at a furious pace, where the whole team made a good showing. Constantly at the front and represented in everything that moved. Around halfway Gustav and a strong six-man group got away, and although they were caught on the line, Wang held his podium place. Cool cool cool. P.S. Wang also took the white youth jersey.
