The X.WA collection keeps the roots – collabs carry the vision
At X.WA we work to strengthen the culture close to the sport itself. Even though it is small. It is, after all, the root of all cycling.
The X.WA collection is fairly classic, graphically ambitious and pretty fast. In addition we have made a series of collab projects. The VIES Elite jersey, for instance; for the riders at the boarding school. Or the federation’s nationwide Challenge CX Cup jersey. And the culture jersey for Storms CC. We are most proud, however, of having refined the most authentic and magnificent team: Team Rynkeby’s riders.
From DENM to TRBY: A collection of ideas with purpose
The Team Rynkeby remake explained by Jacob:
We wanted to refine my graphic solution DENM from the Rio 2016 Olympics. Refine something that worked – as they said in the old days at my graphic school.
The DENM design still rides on all national team riders. DENM was shelved, however, and that opened the door to giving the concept even greater (inner) value: TRBY. My concept line from 2016 rolled out as a look that can campaign in 8 countries. So it stands clearer that every rider starts FROM their town. Rides FROM their country. Seen from behind. Founded BY a commercial, noble brand: Team Rynkeby.
Seen from the front. First and foremost: SUPPORTS a unique and magnificent cause. Raises 10 million euros a year! Donated to seriously ill European children. Proud to be a small piece.
Now with a slightly more graphic solution. In this Rapha reality. All in a quality that can easily ride to Paris. And as I began: can easily ride fast in the sport. Quite curious whether it can also mix it up in Dyrehaven.
